About the Conference

The AOFOW Conference is a forum that is designed to bring stakeholders together to debate and brainstorm solutions and best practices for employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The conference aims to bring to the table a
multi-disciplinary group of employers, academics, practitioners, nonprofit organizations, policy makers, and individual stakeholders that can bring actionable solutions.
The first conference was organized in August, 2023 with partnership from an array of stakeholders at the Michigan State University, Eli Broad College of Business. The partners in the conference were The Center for Ethical and Socially Responsible Leadership at the Eli Broad College of Business, STRIDE Center at the College of Education, Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Office of Labor and Economic Opportunity, and Peckham Inc.
