Michigan State University
This is a free for participants, invite only conference
About the Conference
Recently, investigators at the Michigan State University, Center of Ethical and Socially Responsible Leadership, at the Eli Broad College of Business, and STRIDE Center at the College of Education have partnered with the Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Office of Labor and Economic Opportunity, and Peckham Inc. to host the first Abilities, Opportunities and Future of Work Conference.
This is a free for participants, invite only, National Science Foundation (NSF) sponsored conference designed to promote a cross disciplinary dialogue into different facets of disability employment. Therefore, the conference aims to bring to the table a multi-disciplinary group of employers, academics, practitioners, nonprofit organizations, policy makers, and individual stakeholders that can bring actionable solutions for enhancing opportunities for disability employment.

The conference is uniquely designed in a workshop participatory format that blends keynote speakers and expert panelists. The design of the conference will facilitate maximum participation across participants, and speakers alike.
Our aim is to help provide a forum that can debate and brainstorm solutions, and bring best practices in the discipline to help improve employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
